Bicentenary of the Birth of The Báb and Bahá'u'lláh

The Báb, whose message from God heralded the coming of Bahá'u'lláh, Prophet-founder of the Bahá’í Faith, are considered by Bahá’ís to be "twin Manifestations" of God whose message is one of unity and peace.

In 2017, in some 100,000 localities worldwide, communities around the world celebrated the Bicentennial of the Birth of Bahá'u'lláh, and in 2019, the world will celebrate the Bicentennial of the Birth of The Báb.

One of the ways we are preparing for this special time is by engaging in meaningful conversations around spiritual themes such as oneness, illumination and light, equality, heroism and more.  More here.

The Concord Bahá’í Community invites you to join us in observing the bicentennial of these momentous Figures as we celebrate their lives and teachings.  More information to come!

“I lay asleep on the bed of self when lo, Thou didst waken me with the divine accents of Thy voice, and didst unveil to me Thy beauty, and didst enable me to listen to Thine utterances, and to recognize Thy Self, and to speak forth Thy praise, and to extol Thy virtues, and to be steadfast in Thy love. ” — Bahá’u’lláh
